Maggi noodles has been grand welcomed at the ongoing India International Trade Fair (IITF) in New Delhi’ Pragati Maidan.
What the reality is?
After being off the shelves for more than six months, the Maggi noodles are back in the market. A stall has been installed at the trade fair for the first time and response has been overwhelming. According to Maggi representative, they are selling 500-600 plates every day although it just plain Maggi noodles. One of the reasons cited for the success of Maggi sales at the trade fair is the revoking of the ban that was imposed six months ago on the brand.
According to one of the food coupon distributors at the trade fair only less than 2 per cent of the crowd was buying coupons of other food stalls.
