A plane going to Turkey was diverted to Halifax, Nova Scotia after authorities received information of a bomb threat.
What the situation is?
The Turkish Airlines plane headed from New York City to Ankara with 256 people on board landed safely in Halifax. According to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the plane was diverted due to allegations of a bomb. Police said they were using trained dogs to detect explosives to check the plane.
A couple of days back, an Air France Flight 55 from Dulles International Airport outside Washington was diverted to Halifax after an anonymous bomb threat was phoned in after the plane had taken off.
