Around a tennis-ball-size dimon has been discovered in Botswana which is now considered as the second-largest diamond ever unearthed.

What the reality is?

Lucara Diamond Corp has found out a 1,111-carat gem-quality diamond at the Karowe Mine in Botswana. This huge diamond was lay among the other cache of huge white diamonds including a 374-carat gem and an 813-carat gem. The discovered diamond is smaller only than a precious stone carved up to adorn the British crown jewels. The largest diamond ever discovered was a 3,106-carat Cullinan stone found in South Africa in 1905.

Lucara’s shares went 28% up after the discovery of the 1,111-carat stone, whose value could run into the tens of millions of dollars.
