Despite repeated pleas from the family of a woman, who had a heart attack, a West Bengal policeman did not let their ambulance pass as the traffic was stalled for Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s convoy.
What the actual story is?
Meherjan, 50, complained of chest pain on Wednesday morning. A local doctor Kazi Bulbul referred her to SSKM Hospital but her ambulance got stuck on the road due to CM convoy was about to pass. Even, a policeman played a doctor and checked her pulse and said she was fine and could wait till the CM’s convoy passed. Later after senior officers intervened following a commotion then the ambulance was allowed to pass.
However senior officers issues statement saying they don’t issue such instruction to stop ambulances for the CM’s convoy.
