Stadium Evacuated Due to Bomb Threat in Hanover, Germany

A Stadium has been evacuated and the international friendly match between Germany and the Netherlands in Hannover has been called off hour and half before the planned kick-off time due to live bomb threat.

What the issue is? 

Cancelling the match, Volker Kluwe, the chief inspector of the Hannover police said there were serious plans to set off an explosion and whole of Hannover was in danger.  The supporters were asked to leave the ground quickly but not to panic. The teams and the officials are safe.

Around an hour before the planned kick-off, the police closed off a part of the stadium after finding a suspicious item.
