It might sound utterly humorous, but yeah, it is true. A New York man named Zaq Landsberg is trying to build his own sovereign nation the republic of Zaqistan in a remote four-acre patch of Utah.

So, what the issue is?

Zaq Landsberg, who is also the president of the republic of Zaquistan has bought this land on ebaby for $610. Initially, it was bush-covered stretch of desert which he redeveloped. The fledgling nation will have everything like a truly sovereign nation.

It has its own yellow and red flag, official-looking passports and a border patrol gate guarded by a giant robot sentry.

It even held its first embassy in Buenos.  Interestingly Visitors to Zaqistan can purchase official passports costing $40, which will even be stamped as visitor leave the area.

Really interesting idea to create your own nation. Isn’t it??
