The second Love and Sex conference to explore the possibility of future relationships between humans and robots which was scheduled for 16th of November in Iskandar, Malaysia has been cancelled.
What is the issue?
The bizarre conference, which is intended to dive into the academic and scientific likelihood of human-robot relationships in the future is canceled by local police of Malaysia for the fear that humans might want to have sex with robots. The police claimed that there is nothing scientific about having sex with machines.
This was the second love and sex with robots conference. Last year, the first conference was held in Portugal, and it drew 40 participants.
The conference on Love and Sex with Robots is the brainchild of David Levy, who has authored the book named ‘Love and Sex with Robots’.
