Turkey has allegedly shot a Russian fighter jet and it lead to a full diplomatic crisis over civil war in Syria.
What the actual reality is?
Turkey which a member of NATo has registered numerous complaints that Russia, flying combat missions in neighboring Syria, has strayed toward Turkish airspace. According to Turkey, Russian SU-24 fighter jet ignored several warnings that it was nearing, then entering Turkish airspace near the border with Syria. The Turkey military says the plane was warned 10 times in five minutes before it was shot down.
Other hand Russia insists its craft never went closer than a kilometer. Previously, Syria has also previously shot down Turkish military aircraft which have entered Syrian airspace. Much will now depend on how convincingly Turkey and NATO can show whether the Russian jet did indeed enter Turkish airspace.
