ISIS owns passport printing machine and ‘boxes of blank passports’, according to a new US intelligence report.
What the actual story is?
Homeland Security Investigations Intelligence Report said that the terror group is said to have likely been able to print realistic-looking Syrian passports. Deir ez-Zour is home to a passport office with boxes of blank passports. Another passport office is also found in Raqqa.
Fake Syrian passports were used by two of the suicide bombers involved in the attacks on Paris on 13 November, and the report claims that false Syria passports are ‘so prevalent in Syria that Syrians do not even view possessing them as illegal.’
