Retaliating strongly the terror attacks on Paris, which left 132 people dead, the French fighter planes have dropped 20 bombs on the Islamic State (IS) stronghold of Raqqa in northern Syria.
What the issue really is?
The bombers hit a training camp, arms depot run by ISIS and a jihadi recruitment center. It is considered as France biggest attack on ISIS till date. Earlier IS fighters had said that they carried out the gun and bomb massacre and called Paris “the capital of prostitution and obscenity”.
The French airstrike’s follows the US air strikes on Raqqa last week, which reportedly killed the British militant Mohammed Emwazi, known as “Jihadi John”.
