1-China releases true color, HD photos of moon

The China National Space Administration has released hundreds of true colour, high-definition images of the moon. The images were taken in 2013 when the Chang’e 3 mission soft-landed on the moon, making China the third country only to achieve this after Russia and the United States.

2-France to build 1000km of road with solar panels

France is planning to build 1000 kilometers of road with specially designed solar panels. This project will supply 5 million people in France with electricity if it is successful.

3-Dictionary of dead language complete after 90 years

A dictionary of the extinct language of ancient Mesopotamia has been completed after 90 years of work. Assyrian and Babylonian-dialects of the language collectively known as Akkadian – have not been spoken for almost 2,000 years. This project, which began in 1921.

The trailer of Manoj Bajpayee’s movie, ‘Aligarh’, where he plays a gay professor, has received an ‘Adult’ certificate from the Central Board for Film Certification. The makers argue that there is not a single intimate scene in this movie. ‘A’ certification would result in the trailer being shown on television only after 10 pm.

Kerala government has decided to launch ‘Gender Taxi (G-Taxi)’. This will be owned and operated by Transgenders. It would be aiming to provide a better means of livelihood for the Transgender.

9-Boeing 737 MAX jet successfully completes first flight

Boeing 737 MAX aircraft has successfully completed its first flight. The plane is the fourth version of the original 737, which made its first flight in 1967 and has become one of Boeing’s most profitable aircraft. Boeing 737 MAX  is said to be less noise polluter and fuel efficient by 14 percent compared with the current generation 737.
