Bajrang Dal and VHP activists stopped the screening of Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale at theatres in Mangaluru.
What the actual story is?
Activists held protests in front of multiplexes in City Centre Mall, Forum Fiza mall and Bharat mall where the screenings of the film had to be cancelled. They were protesting against Sahrukh’s intolerance remark. According to multiplex operators, the protests started late Sunday evening following which the remaining shows for the day were cancelled.A series of protests also took place in Jaipur, Dehradun, Mumbai, Jabalpur and Pune last week against the film’s screening.
The activists also warned theatre owners not to show any films of Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan due to their remarks on intolerance.
