Brussels, Belgian capital is on the highest terror alert over serious and imminent threat.
What the actual scenario is?
The capital is placed on the top level “four” in the government’s threat scale after a meeting of top ministers, police and security services. After government warning of a similar attack like Paris, the metro and stores are closed. Streets in Brussels that would normally be full of people doing pre-Christmas shopping looked almost deserted as government announced the highest possible terror alert for the city. Heavy army patrolling is deployed all across the streets. The government urged residents of the capital to stay indoors. Government fear an attack with explosives and weapons at several locations.
Brussels is headquarters of the European Union, the NATO alliance and the offices of many multinational corporations.
