Boeing has developed a metal called Microlattice, which is the Lightest Metal Material in the World.
What it is?
This new material is developed by Boeing, which is made of metal, but it’s 100 times lighter than Styrofoam. It is made with interconnected hollow tubes and it is having same structure similar to bone, in which the outside is rigid but the inside is mostly hollow.
What benefits it is going to offer?
Boeing is going to use it for aircraft which would cut the weight and save fuels.
